All we ask is for the students to be between the ages of 12 - 17, dance at an intermediate to advanced level, and have a visa where applicable.
We strongly advise students auditioning have a visa already. There are extremely long waits for visas throughout the world. Some appointments are taking 1+ years, so we cannot guarantee a spot in the Intensive.
There are several countries that do not need a visa to attend. We recommend checking the link below for more information.
Of course! Please navigate to our "Audition" page to download our guidelines and submit your audition form.
Students may choose between attending 2 or the full 3 weeks.
However, we recommend students staying for the full 3 weeks to experience the totality of the festival. Our classical galas will be held the last week with principal dancers flying in from around the world.
Classes are held five days per week from Monday to Friday.
Students can expect up to 35 hours of dance instruction per week.
On the weekends students and parents will have the chance to attend the festival's international guest star galas.
Please note:
Each week may vary as our schedule follows the International Ballet Festival of Miami's performances
Tuition rates as follows:
2 weeks - $750 USD

The Cuban method, originating from the Russian Vaganova method, emphasizes harmonious movement across the entire body, with a strong and well-aligned torso as the foundation. In contrast to other ballet methods, the Cuban approach combines a romantic feel with high Russian extensions, intricate Italian footwork, French arm artistry, and British attention to detail. Notably, the pas de deux holds special importance, fostering enhanced communication between the dancing couple, elevating ballet through expression and drama.
The Cuban method, also known as the "Alonso Method," aims to create an aesthetically perfect figure by integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual elements. This unique style has transformed ballet globally, with its superb technique, impeccable footwork, and incorporation of Cuban cultural roots. Cuban-trained dancers are now sought after internationally, achieving marquee status with leading ballet companies worldwide.
